Personality
Wellington is a strong horse with good endurance. He can walk and run long distances and can jump without too much trouble. He doesn't use his strength often, but he will if needed. He is pretty fast, because he travels a lot. His long travels made him train his endurance and stamina.
Wellington is a proud guy. He doesn't like being wrong, it makes him feel ashamed. He cares alot for his honor. His honor makes him care for others. He can't just look away if he sees someone who needs help, no matter what is wrong. He has to offer his help, or just listen to their problems. But even besides his honor, he is just caring for others. He can't help it, he just is.
He is very friendly, he has no difficulties talking to strangers. Though some find it really hard, he doesn't mind at all. He learned it on his long journeys.
Even though he is friendly, he is also compeditive. He is Always in for a small contest, like running, jumping or pulling/pushing. He often wins, which makes him feel proud. But he isn't too bothered if he loses, as long as he had fun. That is more important to him.
Wellington is pretty easy going. He isn't bothered often if lots of things are going on around him. He just stays calm and observes before he acts. If a fights starts near him he will go aside, or if it gets too much he will jump in to end it. He will act like he forgot the matter quite fast.
Wellington is also curious. He wants to know how things work, how they got like this etc. He loves to take things apart to see how they look from the inside. But sometimes he can't get them back together again. Not that he cares much... His curiousity often takes him on his travels. Why are cats so important in Egypt? Why do you see so many dragons and lions in China? What is Thanksgiving? He is willing to go all around the world to find out. Actually, go around the world is his dream.
He is a charming guy. A real flirt to the ladies too. He likes to listens to them, and talk to them. The ladies find him very charming. He is a true flirter. He isn't scared to talk to strangers and flirt with the ladies. But he knows when to stop.

History
Sadly, Wellington has a pretty sad past. He lived with his parents for 3 years on a lovely old farm. Their owners needed money to do some repairings, so they decided to sell him. He got trained to be used to the saddle and bridle, he turned out to be very talented. But they wanted him to be calm and elegant while riding, and he had too much energy for that. Not too bad, at least he did his best. But his fear of the vet was a problem. No one could handle him, he was just too strong.
So he got sold again. He ended up in an old stable, pretty cold, dusty and dirty. HHe was the only one there, making him feel lonely. He felt sad. He became agressive to the people around him. They called him dangerous, so they sold him.
Wellington felt sad, but got sold pretty soon. The people loved him and trained him. He learned a lot of new things, but he never understood the use of jumping over some fake fance. What was the purpose if you can walk around it easy? What a waste of energy!
Sadly, they bought him to win competitions with him. Once he found out they were trying to sell him, he managed to get out. No more new homes! Bite me, all of you! he thought by himself. He traveled a long way, trying to find a new home.
